Not all these adapters are compatible with the AMBrc. Additional download resource sites. This may be seen by many users of AMBrc as a backwards step but I believe that the power requirements of the new decoder are too great for USB. This is a complete guide to installing an AMBrc Detection Loop and mounting rechargeable handout and direct power personal transponders. The System 20 called this because it can count twenty cars was introduced in the early 90’s, these are no longer made but are available on the second hand market. SO Laps Free functions allright.

AMBRC2 DECODER RS 232 TO USB
Last edited by Bob Malphurs; at It’s just that the decoder is not recognised by the pc, when connecting it through USB. I still find it a pitty that the USB-connection can not be used with alternative software, alldough I have not given up my attempts to find an USB-solution. I’m not sure if Laps Free does. System 20 transponders continually emit a signal, each transponder number has its own frequency so the decoder can identify the car, inside the decoder there is a separate circuit for each transponder number.
The rc decoder has both. Laps Free does not ussb the USB interface.

Also, if you allowed Windows “found new device” wizard to install a generic driver for the AMBrc it will have to be uninstalled.
Well, this RC Scoring Pro-software seems very nice but is no option for me. The other system uses transponder type units Called TD-1powered by a free slot in the cars receiver.
When I got rc scoring pro put on a Windows 8 system, I had to buy a new rs cable decoeer the other one wasn’t compatible to win8. Originally Posted by bentgear.

Lots of tracks use them! Might I suggest updating the usb driver?
If you are updating an earlier version of bbkRC please read this. RC Scoring Pro recommends one on their ub. Again if the software does not support it don’t bother.
Anyone knows where I could find these drivers? The System 20 called this because it can count twenty cars was introduced in the early 90’s, these are jsb longer made but are available on the second hand market.
Hence the choice of the free software: Originally Posted by racer Find More Posts by racer So I really would like to find a correct driver for this.
